DISCOVER AMRA’S RELAYS FOR ENERGY MARKET: CIRED Rome, 12-15 JUNE 2023
CIRED is the International Conference and Exhibition on Electricity Distribution.
This series of biennal conferences began in 1971 and we are now at the 27th edition.
It's dedicated to the design, construction and operation of public distribution systems and of large installations using electrical energy in industry, services and transport.
AMRA will show its relays and CHAUVIN ARNOUX Group professional instruments.

NEW RANGE OF TRIP RELAYS K94
The trip relay (defined with the acronym K94 in the ANSI standards) is a fast-acting relay designed to ensure a high switching speed together with a high breaking capacity in order to manage inductive and high direct current loads.
This range of trip relays is commonly used in the switches control chains (both medium and high voltage) and more in general in all rapid fault extinction duty, where it is essential to place the system in safe conditions in the shortest possible time.
NEW RANGE OF TRIP RELAYS K86
New range of K86 fast-acting lock-out relays, 4-8-12 contacts with high-burden and manual set/reset.
The lockout relay (code K86 in the ANSI standards) also identified therein as lock-out relay or master trip relay, assumes a very important function as it acts as an intermediate element between one or more protection relays and one or more control devices /check.
In this position, its job is both to multiply the number of elements actuated by any protection function, and to provide a "hold" function typical of bistable relays, which must be intentionally reset to allow the system to resume normal operation.
THE CONTACT RESISTANCE OF THE ELECTROMECHANICAL RELAY
The concept of contact resistance may, on the surface, seems very simple, especially when it comes to the contact resistance of an electromechanical relays.
However, the contact resistance is the sum of multiple resistance values, each influenced by several very different physical variables.
DISCOVER AMRA’S OFFERING FOR THE RAILWAY MARKET: INNOTRANS, Berlin, 20-23 SEPTEMBER 2022
INNOTRANS, held every two years in Berlin, is the world's leading transport technology exhibition.
AMRA will display its products in collaboration with the CHAUVIN ARNOUX Group and the group's German subsidiary.
